(LNG_EXPORTS_CA_CER)Shaded areas indicate Canadian recessions (C.D. Howe Institute).
Notes
Source: Canada Energy Regulator
Release: Liquefied Natural Gas Exports
Units: Thousand cubic metres, Monthly LNG export volume, gas equivalent, all terminals
Frequency: Monthly
Notes: Liquefied natural gas exports from Canadian terminals in thousand cubic metres (gas equivalent) per month, from the Canada Energy Regulator. Volumes were small re-exports for years, then stepped up in 2025 when the Kitimat terminal began shipping. Note: CER's published August 2026 figure is about 100 times the level of surrounding months and appears mis-scaled in the source file; it is omitted here until CER republishes it.
